Managing Director at Aimtech Recruitment Ltd A 12-month fixed-term position is available for someone with strong analytical and technical skills, working for an organisation based in Central London. The role involves spending two days per week in the office and collaborating closely with both the technology support function and key operational leaders. The main focus will be to map out how core processes work, create clear documentation, and support the shaping and roll‑out of new systems—particularly those built on Microsoft Power Platform tools.
Key Responsibilities
Review existing ways of working, capturing them clearly and keeping documentation up to date.
Analyse requirements for new or improved digital tools and translate them into structured specifications.
Produce detailed technical and functional documents to support the selection or configuration of solutions.
Take ownership of smaller projects or workstreams, planning activity and tracking progress.
Develop and maintain guidance, procedures and other documentation linked to the organisation’s business applications.
Provide day‑to‑day support for internal systems, with a strong emphasis on SharePoint and related Microsoft technologies.
Support the introduction and configuration of new applications, ideally including Power Apps.
Assist with testing activities, coordinate user acceptance testing, deliver training, and create training materials.
Some travel to other sites may occasionally be needed, so the position best suits someone living in London or nearby counties.
