Fly with us into the future and become part of the team at one of the most innovative aircraft manufacturers in the world.

Your Tasks
  • Develop software for the simulation of flight physics and systems of trainer aircrafts, including models for flight dynamics, ground dynamics, flight controls, control loading, autopilot, engine, propeller, atmosphere and computer-generated forces
  • Ensure the simulation models comply with the applicable simulator levels and regulations (EASA, ICAO, FAA), maintain the Qualification Test Guide (QTG) and support the qualifications with the customer
  • Coordinate ground and flight data gathering activities with the Engineering business unit (flight physics, avionics, propulsion, mechanical systems) supporting flight simulation development for Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS)
  • Support GBTS integration, installation, verification & validation (V&V) and in-service support activities, cooperating with project management, quality management, suppliers and customers
  • Write and review technical documentation as part of the GBTS lifecycle, inclusive of technical specifications, system/software requirements, system design specifications and technical memos
  • Knowledge the V-model and experience with Model-Based System Engineering is an advantage
  • With this you convince us
  • Master degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar degree with a focus on flight physics (particularly aerodynamics, flight dynamics and aircraft performance), avionics and complex systems
  • Experience with C++, python and Matlab/Simulink, control loading systems (., MOOG) and integration of models in training devices with complex hardware/software in the loop as well as practical knowledge of applicable simulator levels and regulations (. EASA, FAA, ICAO)
  • Experience with automatic flight controls or control systems and integration of real or simulated avionics is an advantage, as well as with system engineering methodologies (., MIL-498) and quality standards tools for requirements management (., DOORS), agile project management (Jira) and configuration management (., Teamcenter)
  • Excellent social and communication skills with a fluency in English (spoken and written), German is an advantage
  • Ability to perform to tight deadlines and under pressure on parallel activities, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working equally well in a team or individually with a proactive attitude
