Join our dedicated team as a Material Handler in Boise, Idaho. This role is vital for the seamless operation of our warehouse, focusing on the efficient movement and organization of materials. You will be instrumental in supporting our Logistics operations by ensuring materials are readily available for various processes. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of performing demanding physical tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and move raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stage materials for production lines, shipping, or storage.
- Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting and stock verification.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and security.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or potential hazards.
- Strictly follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 55 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols.
- Experience with inventory systems is a plus.
- Understanding of Logistics operations within a warehouse setting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
