We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, and assisting with general warehouse duties. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting our commitment to efficient logistics. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and contribute to overall inventory accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Enter and maintain inventory data in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor inventory levels and report any stockouts or overstock situations.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Handle lifting of products up to 50 lbs.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring inventory availability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehousing preferred.
- Proficiency in WMS or similar inventory software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform lifting tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and proper handling of materials.
