We are looking for certified Forklift Operators to join our busy warehouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods, and position inventory. Maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all operational procedures are paramount. You will also assist with inventory management and other warehouse duties as needed. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict Safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Follow all company procedures and guidelines for material handling and warehouse operations.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting of up to 50 pounds, when necessary.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE at all times.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
