In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is key to our success in the Logistics and e-commerce fulfillment process, ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers. As an Order Picker, your main tasks will include using order lists or scanners to locate specific products, carefully removing them from inventory, and preparing them for the packing station. A meticulous approach is essential to guarantee order accuracy. You will work in a dynamic and sometimes fast-paced environment, requiring a good understanding of warehouse layout and inventory systems. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and contributing to overall warehouse organization are also part of your responsibilities. Strict adherence to all company Safety procedures and the proper use of necessary PPE is mandatory. This role involves significant physical activity, including prolonged standing, walking, and the Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use order lists, scanners, or other technology to locate products.
- Verify product codes and quantities before moving items to packing.
- Maintain organized and accessible inventory storage.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE , including safety shoes and gloves.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Meet productivity targets for order picking efficiency.
- Contribute to team efforts and communicate effectively with colleagues.
