We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This position is critical for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, packaging items securely, and coordinating with carriers for pick-ups. Adherence to all shipping regulations and safety protocols is paramount. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in basic computer applications, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics setting. You will be involved in tracking shipments, resolving any discrepancies, and communicating with internal departments and external partners.
