Join our team as a Material Handler in Sacramento, California! We are seeking energetic and dependable individuals to manage the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations, ensuring that materials are readily available for production and distribution. You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized workspace. A strong focus on Safety and efficient workflow is key. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment and contribute to the smooth running of our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Stock shelves and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Support the Logistics team as needed.
This role involves regular Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. Candidates should have experience with material handling equipment and a good understanding of Logistics principles. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount. We provide necessary PPE and ongoing Safety training.
