Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for efficiency? We are hiring an Order Picker for our busy warehouse in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and with speed. Your main duties will involve accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets, ensuring the correct quantity and product type. You will also be responsible for carefully packing items for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. A strong understanding of inventory and product location within the warehouse is beneficial. You must be committed to maintaining a safe work environment by following all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires physical stamina, as it involves extensive standing, walking, reaching, and frequent Lifting of items up to 35 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves according to order lists.
- Verify product details and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Operate scanning equipment for inventory tracking.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking and packing area.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
