We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Tampa, Florida. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that stock levels are precise and readily available. Your primary duties will involve conducting cycle counts, performing regular audits, and investigating discrepancies to resolve any stocktaking issues. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and ensuring proper storage and organization of all goods. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices within a warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce stock loss. Compliance with all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This role involves moderate physical activity, including frequent standing, walking, and occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes, verifying shipments.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory.
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to improve inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and utilize required PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or potential hazards.
- Participate in ongoing training programs.
