We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be an integral part of our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory. You will operate material handling equipment safely and effectively to move products around the warehouse. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Handle heavy items with proper lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with basic inventory management principles.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
