We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse and the successful execution of our logistics functions. You will be responsible for maneuvering forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials and products throughout the facility. Safety is our top priority, and we require operators who demonstrate a strong commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and using required PPE. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of goods, supporting our entire supply chain. We are looking for dedicated individuals who can work efficiently and maintain high standards of performance.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, including raw materials and finished goods.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
- Organize and stack products in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space utilization.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment, identifying and reporting any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear mandatory PPE and utilize it correctly at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Perform tasks involving Lifting and the safe handling of various materials within the logistics flow.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Forklift Operator with verifiable experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of warehouse Safety practices and procedures.
- Experience with various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular Lifting and physical exertion.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
- Commitment to wearing PPE and prioritizing Safety.
