We are hiring Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This position is key to ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work with a team to process a high volume of orders, contributing directly to our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and possesses a strong attention to detail. Your commitment to Safety and accuracy will be paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping labels.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety protocols, including wearing the required PPE.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Be able to perform tasks requiring repetitive Lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret picking lists and order forms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and Lifting throughout the shift.
- Willingness to follow Safety guidelines and wear PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics is helpful.
