This versatile role supports various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility, contributing directly to our ability to serve our customers effectively. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting. Strict adherence to all safety procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is a requirement for this role. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare shipments for departure, including labeling and staging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
