In this role, you will contribute to various aspects of warehouse management, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and general upkeep of the facility. Your efforts will ensure the efficient flow of goods and contribute to overall customer satisfaction. We emphasize a secure and productive workplace, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves substantial lifting and requires physical stamina to perform duties effectively throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive and stock incoming merchandise according to established procedures.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and reporting.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and hazard-free.
- Conduct routine checks of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve productivity goals.
- Perform any other assigned warehouse tasks to support logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Capability to perform lifting tasks, often exceeding 40 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing required PPE.
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
