About Spa Southern Hills
Spa Southern Hills has served the Tulsa community for *25 years* as a locally owned, family-operated spa located within the Tulsa Marriott Hotel. We work with a large, loyal local client base, with more than *15,000 services booked annually*, allowing for consistent booking opportunities without operating as a high-volume clinic.
We work with experienced Licensed Massage Therapists who are looking for a professional, well-run environment that supports sustainable, long-term careers.
*The opportunity*
Licensed Massage Therapists contract with Spa Southern Hills as *independent contractors* under a separate contractor agreement. Contractors set their own schedules and provide services based on client demand and availability within spa hours.
Our operations are structured to support efficient, professional practice — with clear booking expectations, built-in turnover time, and on-site operational support.
*What working here actually looks like*
We are intentional about how our spa operates day to day. This is not a high-pressure or quota-driven environment.
*Scheduling & booking*
* You set your own schedule, including:
* working days
* break lengths
* number of treatments booked consecutively
* Services are clearly defined at booking
* Clients select service types (e.g., Swedish or Deep Tissue)
* Expectations are established prior to each session
*Treatment flow*
* No forced rushing between appointments
* A 15-minute turnover time is built into the booking schedule
*On-site operational support*
* Experienced front-of-house team
* Management present and accessible
* Clear communication between therapists and the front desk
*Facilities & resources*
* Electric massage tables and accessories
* Independent contractors are not required to use spa-provided equipment if they maintain approved alternatives
* High-quality linens and professional supplies
* Clean, well-maintained treatment rooms
Our goal is sustainability — not burnout.
*Compensation & incentives*
* Paid onboarding and training ($25/hour)
* Client no-show compensation
* A minimum 15% gratuity is applied to premium packages
* Annual performance-based incentive bonus
* *Referral bonus:*
* $200 when a referred LMT begins contracting with the spa
* Additional $300 if they remain contracted for 6 months
* *Sign-on bonus:*
* $200 upon onboarding
* $300 retention bonus at the 6-month mark
All bonuses, incentives, and gratuity structures are subject to the independent contractor agreement and current spa policies.

*Who should apply*
This opportunity is a good fit for Licensed Massage Therapists who:
* Have *at least one year of professional massage experience*
* Hold an *active Oklahoma massage therapy license*, or are eligible to transfer licensure prior to their start date
* Value professionalism, communication, and consistent standards
* Are seeking a stable, well-managed spa environment rather than short-term or high-volume work

* Provide high-quality massage services aligned with booked service types
* Maintain appropriate professional boundaries consistent with spa standards

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
