Join our dynamic healthcare team as a dedicated Physical Therapist, where you will play a vital role in restoring mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing the quality of life for patients across diverse settings. *Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
* Develop and implement customized care plans utilizing physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and sports rehabilitation.
* Administer treatments in various settings including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health visits, and community care programs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care environments.
* Utilize electronic medical records (EMR systems) to document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately.
* Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, exercise routines, and home care strategies to support ongoing recovery.
* Stay current with advances in physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and physiotherapy best practices to deliver high-quality care.
*Skills*
* Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology essential for accurate assessment and effective treatment planning.
* Proven experience in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics or home & community care environments.
* Expertise in discharge planning and creating detailed care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and communication within healthcare teams.
* Skilled in various physiotherapy techniques including trigger point therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
* Excellent patient care skills with the ability to motivate and support diverse populations such as geriatrics and pediatrics.
* Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice combined with a solid understanding of home health protocols. Job Type: Contract
Pay: $54.00 per hour
