We are seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our vibrant team in San Francisco, California. This role is essential for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and in perfect condition. You will be responsible for carefully selecting items from our inventory and preparing them for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and Safety. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for any defects or damages.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate boxes, padding, and tape.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 45 lbs).
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Understanding of basic Logistics and inventory flow.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
