We are looking for skilled Material Handlers to join our operations in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting stock. Your primary responsibilities will involve the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment to support all warehouse functions. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials between different areas of the warehouse, and ensuring that inventory is stored correctly. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the ability to operate machinery are essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items throughout the warehouse.
- Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict Safety guidelines.
- Follow all procedures for handling and storing materials, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid certification for operating relevant machinery.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and wearing required PPE .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of inventory management principles.
