Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining accurate inventory records? We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, performing stock adjustments, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date and accurate. This position is key to our overall logistics efficiency and requires a meticulous approach. A strong emphasis is placed on a safe working environment; all team members are required to follow safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires precision, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. While not as physically demanding as some other warehouse roles, occasional lifting may be required. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory control principles and warehouse management systems (WMS). Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Process stock adjustments and transfers in the WMS.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all products.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Implement inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to resolve inventory-related problems.
  • Support the logistics team with accurate stock information.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stock placement.
  • Identify and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
