Our Seattle, Washington location is looking for an diligent Order Picker to join our warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of urgency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for accurately locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, preparing them for packing and shipment, and contributing to overall inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to order slips or electronic pick lists.
- Use of RF scanners or other technology to track picked items and manage inventory.
- Inspect picked items for quality and any signs of damage before proceeding.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for the packing and shipping process.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts by promptly reporting discrepancies.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure safety .
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Contribute to team efforts to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Understand and follow basic warehouse logistics and workflow.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Comfortable with bending, reaching, and **Lifting** items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to following all safety guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is a plus.
