Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations accurately.
- Pick and pack items according to customer orders, ensuring precision and speed.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, packaging, and staging orders for transport.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other manual material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area, adhering to all company and safety regulations.
- Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Assist with inventory control tasks such as cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals within our logistics framework.
- Must be able to handle lifting of materials up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is a strong asset.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced urban environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic knowledge of logistics operations is beneficial.
