Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Safely transport raw materials, finished goods, and components throughout the warehouse facility.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and put-away of stock.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles and pathways are clear.
- Understand and follow logistics procedures for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Must have experience with lifting and maneuvering heavy loads safely.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Proven ability to safely operate various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Strong commitment to safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
