In this critical position, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving specific items from our warehouse stock to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision directly impact our logistics chain and customer satisfaction. This role requires mobility, the ability to read order slips accurately, and physical capability for tasks including moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities before proceeding.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or stock issues.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and regulations.
- Wear all required PPE during shift.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capacity to lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude towards Safety.
