Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage the incoming flow of goods. This pivotal role ensures that all shipments are accurately received, inspected, and processed, forming the critical first step in our supply chain and logistics operations. We are looking for an organized and safety-conscious individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Document all receiving activities accurately using appropriate systems.
- Stage received goods for put-away into inventory.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks for material movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Communicate any receiving issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Support overall warehouse logistics efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory, or a related warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with logistics documentation is a plus.
