We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Omaha, Nebraska. In this critical role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the facility. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, transport goods to and from storage areas, and assist in order picking and staging. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment is essential, as is strict adherence to all Safety regulations and procedures. You will be required to wear and correctly use all assigned PPE , including safety vests, hard hats, and protective footwear. This position involves significant Lifting and the safe operation of heavy machinery. Your expertise is vital to the smooth functioning of our entire Logistics network. We are committed to providing a secure and productive workplace for all our associates. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with materials.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist in order picking, staging, and put-away processes.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damage immediately.
- Follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Properly manage loads and ensure stability during transport.
