As a Product Improvement Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing and improving products throughout their lifecycle. You’ll play a key role in maximizing their profitability and quality, ensuring their longevity, performance, and continuity of production.

• Manage the product lifecycle:
  • Ensure product compliance with applicable standards and regulations;
  • Document technical support processes and best practices;
  • Oversee change management activities;
  • Participate in end-of-life product planning.
• Troubleshoot technical issues:
  • Identify and resolve issues reported by production teams, customers, or through analysis;
  • Collaborate with development and production teams to solve complex problems;
  • Contribute to anomaly analyses internally, at the plant, or at customer sites when required.
• Plan and participate in continuous improvement initiatives:
  • Develop and maintain technical support plans for existing products;
  • Analyze product performance data to identify improvement opportunities;
  • Work closely with the assembly plant to monitor and maintain PFMEA analyses.

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or a related field);
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar electronic-focused role;
• Relevant experience in technical support, continuous improvement, or electronic product management;
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Jira is an asset);
• A high level of rigor, analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills;
• Bilingualism in French and English – functional English required to communicate with suppliers.
