Position SummaryReporting to the Senior Business Solutions Manager , you will act as the primary client liaison to lead the implementation of projects within the Office of the CIO segments of PointClickCare. This role will be responsible for managing projects related to enterprise information management, the corporate data office, or digital transformation projects. This role requires a senior PM with an excellent track record of managing multiple projects and leading with authority.
Responsibilities- Use best-practice PMO methodology to create a project plan that fits stakeholder needs and delivers within budget and desired outcomes. Fully accountable for project results and the driver of project alignment.
- Work closely with business units to define project scope and objectives; coordinate with Change Management as needed.
- Organize, lead, and facilitate meetings with clear objectives; compile timely meeting summaries.
- Leverage knowledge in IT infrastructure and security to recognize problems, bring together the right people to solve them, and close issues with urgency.
- Communicate milestones and status updates to all concerned parties; proactively manage escalation and change control processes; own management reports for the project.
- Coordinate with vendors, including SOWs and onboarding; ensure vendor deliverables meet schedule and contract terms; manage vendor relationships and lead vendor calls.
- Manage scope creep, communications, and quality; drive ownership of decisions.
- Understand the customer’s business and technical needs; act as primary interface to business units throughout all phases of the project.
- Create project plans with scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and required resources; manage the project budget, team resources, communications, and plans.
- Monitor and report project progress, problems, and recommended solutions; identify and resolve risks and issues in a timely manner; escalate when appropriate.
- Provide direction and support to the implementation team and review deliverables; report deployments, schedules, budgets, and revenue using internal methods.
- Manage day-to-day implementation of project aspects, define tasks and resource allocation; update timelines and deliverables; manage issues and dependencies.
- Foster ongoing growth of the team’s project-management capabilities within the PMO; manage multiple competing priorities; contribute to PMO goals and objectives.
- 5-10 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: master data management, data quality management, metadata management, data governance, data migration (Nice-To-Have).
- Experience managing enterprise information management programs, corporate data office projects, or digital transformation projects.
- PMP or Agile designation preferred.
- Self-motivated, quick, and assertive; extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- Exceptional time management, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, and metrics creation.
- Ability to identify issues, generate solutions, and apply root-cause analysis; manage scope changes and assess impacts on budget, time, and risk.
- Ability to manage client expectations and anticipate operational and tactical risks.
- Clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues; remove barriers and escalate as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Stay current with industry trends through professional associations, journals, networking, and training.
$112,000 - $120,000 a year
