Role: We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Developer to design, build, and optimize the cloud infrastructure that powers SGA’s AI-driven agricultural solutions. You will be responsible for creating scalable, secure, and high-performance platforms that support large-scale data processing, AI model deployment, and real-time applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to shape the backbone of next-generation AgTech systems.

• Design and develop cloud platforms to support large-scale AI and data-driven applications.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor AI models and services in production environments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Automate workflows and CI/CD pipelines for reliable and efficient deployment.
• Integrate diverse data sources (geospatial, drone, IoT, and field data) into cloud-based systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI engineers, software developers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and reliability standards.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies to continuously improve SGA’s platform capabilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field .
• Proven experience designing and building cloud platforms at scale .
• Hands-on expertise with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform ).
• Proven experience to deploy AI applications on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms.
• Experience setting up and implementing AI applications on colocation servers at data centers (e.g., SaskTel Data Center).
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar languages for cloud and backend development.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, authentication, and data governance .
• Experience managing large-scale data processing pipelines .
• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving, startup environment.
