What We’re Looking For

As a Business Development Representative you will be primarily responsible for prospecting, booking appointments, and creating sales‑qualified opportunities within a vetted territory. Reporting to the BDR Manager, this role offers career growth into other sales roles or departments.

This role requires a proven track record in sales/business development and an eagerness to work in a fast‑paced start‑up with significant accountability. You will be on the front lines of growing FacilityOS awareness, positioning us as the market leader in facility and visitor management. Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. You must be a self‑motivated, A‑team player who is comfortable with cold calling and warm lead nurturing to drive conversion.

What You’ll Do
  • Use an outbound approach to build a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities through high‑activity calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and other creative outreach.
  • Develop quality messaging and outreach tactics to attract new prospects to FacilityOS.
  • Lead discovery conversations with prospects, uncovering challenges and illustrating how FacilityOS can fit into their business.
  • Use prospecting tools like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and Qualified to their maximum potential to bring in new clients.
  • Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the BDR role to management.
  • Convert qualified leads into scheduled product demos with Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives and work on vertical‑based cadences and messaging to attract new business opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets.
Experience You’ll Bring
  • 1 year of previous experience in business development, sales, customer service, inside sales, prospecting, or a similar role.
  • Prior experience or knowledge working in the SaaS industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with managers, executives, and peers.
  • Unmatched work ethic and a willingness to learn and implement feedback.
  • Highly motivated, self‑starter with initiative, a can‑do attitude, results‑driven mindset, and the ability to achieve set goals.
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem‑identification and problem‑resolution skills.
  • Aptitude for technology and a desire to learn by doing.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a high‑growth scale‑up environment where things can change quickly.
