Project Manager

SRA Staffing is hiring a full-time Project Manager on behalf of a confidential and highly trusted financial services client located in midtown Toronto. This organization is known for its continued customer success, long-standing market presence, and focus on innovation across insurance, finance, and investment platforms.

This is a permanent opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager who excels in leading both business and technology initiatives within a hybrid delivery environment.

The Project Manager will oversee multiple concurrent initiatives across applications, infrastructure, and system implementations , working closely with business and IT stakeholders, steering committees, and external development vendors. Projects typically range from $300K to $4M in budget.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects in parallel
• Manage cross-functional teams, schedules, budgets, and scope
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Monitor project financials and provide clear, ongoing status updates
• Identify risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
• Support transition to Agile delivery while incorporating Waterfall where applicable

• 5+ years of project management experience in IT and business project delivery
• 2+ years of Agile delivery experience (mixed Agile/Waterfall environment is ideal)
• Experience managing application development projects with external vendors
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels
• Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Project, Visio, Office 365, ADO/JIRA
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and facilitation capabilities
