Job Title: Project Manager – Personal & Commercial Banking / Investment

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite, downtown Toronto)

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager with strong experience in Personal and Commercial Banking as well as the Investment space . This role requires someone who can manage complex projects end-to-end, working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment. You will play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives that support business transformation and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
• Manage stakeholder expectations across business lines, including Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, and Investment teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to define requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage change requests, and ensure project governance standards are upheld.
• Provide regular project updates to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Support UAT and ensure readiness for project deployment and transition to operations.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Proven experience managing projects in Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, and Investment areas.
• Strong understanding of financial products, customer journeys, and regulatory environments.
• PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite per week in downtown Toronto).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives or core banking systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Prior experience working in a matrixed enterprise environment.
