NetCracker Solution Architect

Location: Canada (open to candidates in the US as well) Remote

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in telecommunications to design and oversee the implementation of complex systems. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise with the NetCracker platform (OSS or BSS) and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in the telco space.

• Design and develop comprehensive architectural solutions for complex telecom systems
• Create and maintain solution architecture artifacts (high-level and detailed design documents)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure solutions align with industry standards, best practices, and client-specific requirements
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance existing systems
• Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments of proposed solutions
• Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations
• Minimum 3 years in a Solution Architect or similar role
• Extensive experience in the telecommunications industry
• Hands‑on expertise with NetCracker OSS/BSS platform (mandatory)
• Proven track record of successful solution design and implementation
• In‑depth knowledge of NetCracker modules: Offer Catalog, CPQ, Order Management, Order Fulfillment, Inventory, Integrations
• Strong understanding of telecom systems, protocols, and standards
• Expertise in system integration, API design, and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in cloud technologies applied to telco environments
• Knowledge of database design and optimization
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Understanding network technologies (4G, 5G, VoIP, IMS)
• Experience with performance tuning and scalability planning

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Solution Architect professional certifications
• Experience with multiple BSS/OSS platforms
• Knowledge of AI/ML applications in telecommunications
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the telco industry
• Proactive problem‑solver with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Passion for emerging technologies and innovation
• Strong ethical standards and integrity
