Business Analyst, Dashboard & Reporting (Temporary)

Your Opportunity:

As a valued member of the Business Process Management (BPM) team reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis for Dashboards and Reporting, you will engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate their business needs into system solutions that achieve desired outcomes. Your duties will include collaborating with stakeholders, leading workshops, modeling processes, identifying pain-points and improvement opportunities, eliciting business requirements, and assisting with testing and organizational change management.

Stantec offers a flexible work environment with hybrid remote work from home options. We prefer a North American location for this role.

• Understand client business needs.
• Analyze business processes to identify pain-points, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct workshops to elicit business requirements.
• Document information using tools such as MS Office suite, MS Teams, and Confluence.
• Assist with product assessments and vendor selections.
• Facilitate and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Participate in testing activities such as test case creation, test execution, and issue resolution.
• Support cross-functional programs and projects that may include IT, HR, Payroll, Finance, Project Accounting, and other areas as required.

• Follow BPM practices and guidelines.
• Work with colleagues to improve those practices and guidelines.
• Assist with day-to-day operational issues.
• Adhere to Stantec policies and practices.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and self-directed.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Experience as a Business Analyst in a large organization.
• Experience and knowledge in corporate ERP systems.
• Experience with documentation and work tracking tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience building test cases and performing testing with tools such as QTest.
• Experience with agile development practices.

• Post-secondary degree, ideally related to Business or Management Information Systems.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
