Job description Location: Canada (Flexible / Hybrid / Remote)
Experience Level: Senior – 7+ years of ERP experience
Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) Migration Architect to lead and drive large-scale ERP migration initiatives for enterprise clients across Canada.
In this strategic role, you will design and oversee end-to-end migration architectures , ensuring excellence in technical delivery, data integrity, and integration across systems. You will also play a key leadership role by coaching and mentoring project teams , fostering technical excellence, and promoting consistency in migration best practices.
Core ResponsibilitiesMigration Architecture & Delivery
Design end-to-end migration architectures from legacy ERPs (AX, NAV, SAP, Oracle, etc.) to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
Lead data migration strategies , including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, and validation using tools such as DMF, Azure Data Factory, or Scribe.
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected principles.
Define integration patterns using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and APIs to ensure seamless interoperability with third-party systems.
Conduct solution reviews and gap analyses , providing clear recommendations for migration paths, optimizations, and customizations.
Ensure all migrations adhere to best practices in security, performance, and governance .
Mentor and coach functional consultants, developers, and junior architects throughout the migration lifecycle.
Deliver internal training sessions on D365 F&O migration best practices, performance optimization, and upgrade strategies.
Foster knowledge sharing and standardization of migration methodologies across projects.
Support career growth and development of team members through hands-on guidance and constructive feedback.
Minimum 7 years of ERP experience , including 4+ years on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O .
Proven experience leading full lifecycle D365 F&O migration projects .
Strong expertise in data migration , X++ , LCS , Power Platform , and Azure integration services .
Familiarity with DevOps , CI/CD pipelines , and environment management in D365.
Demonstrated experience coaching teams and delivering technical enablement sessions .
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent cloud certification)
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a client-oriented mindset.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Bilingual (French and English) – strong asset for Montreal-based projects.
