The RoleWe are seeking a Trade Floor Support Analyst to provide first-line support for our in-house derivatives trading platforms in a dynamic trade floor environment. The role involves close collaboration with front‑office users to resolve system usage issues, perform trade analysis (e.g., MTM, risk), and support ongoing enhancements to trading systems. The analyst will work with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery of system enhancements and project milestones.
Key Responsibilities- Act as primary support for production issues on the trade floor, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to trading activities.
- Manage incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and handle escalation procedures.
- Gather and document business requirements for enhancements within the Trade Management stream.
- Support monthly sprint planning by coordinating with Front and Middle Office users to prioritize deliverables.
- Create and maintain JIRA tickets and Confluence documentation to track requirements, issues, and changes.
- Collaborate with senior team members to analyze and resolve moderately complex business problems.
- Support the full OTC trading cycle from Front to Back Office under guidance from senior team members.
- Foster strong relationships with front office, sales, and operations stakeholders to support business needs.
- Assist in defining user procedures, workflows, and training materials for new system features.
- Respond to ad‑hoc business queries and support user training across global teams.
- Continuously develop knowledge of financial instruments, trading workflows, and regulatory requirements relevant to the derivatives space.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or application support team.
- Exposure to Capital Markets, Rates Trading, or OTC Derivatives is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and test case design.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Strong SQL and Excel (formulas/VBA); Unix/Python knowledge is an asset.
