We are hiring a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team. This role suits a professional with a proven track record of exceptional communication and technical skills, with opportunities to travel and work from India. The CRC Senior Manager will assist the audit business units and the CRC Champions network D&A Center monthly reporting and budget modelling to manage CRC objectives and related KPIs. The primary role is to provide direct support and guidance to both offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their audits.

• Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations of the CRC D&A Center of Excellence in collaboration with the CRC national management team and CDST team.
• Provide direct support to audit engagement teams so they can effectively leverage the CRC D&A Center of Excellence on their engagements.
• Assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and overseeing the implementation of solutions to ensure the highest audit quality and deliverables.
• Prepare training materials, how-to guides, monthly/quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal.
• Leverage firm processes and programs to ensure active support of the business.

• Data & Analytics: Identify potential new services, offerings, and tools to enhance the experience of audit engagement teams using the CRC.
• Perform annual budgeting, forecasting and hours/FTE modelling using various data analytic programs.
• Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore teams to ensure sufficient fulfiller licensing and restricted access to security groups.
• Review and approve requests for access to standard software and technology tools used by offshore delivery team members (e.g., Visio Pro, Alteryx, PowerBI).

• Other: Expected to be a performance manager to more junior team members.
• Willingness to travel internationally and ability to obtain requisite business traveler visas/work permits for India.
• Support required policies, practices, laws and regulations as applicable during the course of employment.
• Be prepared to adjust hours for overlap with the offshore management team to ensure smooth operational oversight.

At times, business needs may require working beyond normal hours. Our approach to flexibility provides for this as needed.

• Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience with a public practice accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Senior manager or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.
• Minimum 5 years auditing and team management experience.
• Diploma or bachelor’s in computer science, Database Management or Programming (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle) is an asset.
• Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate).
• Proficiency with ServiceNow is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Bi-lingual in French and English is an asset; strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Experience facilitating Audit Foundations courses or similar is an asset.
• Ability to oversee multiple projects, adapt to conflicting priorities, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Desire to innovate and improve processes; comfortable working in virtual and in-person environments.
• Advanced skills with MS Office and Adobe products (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Forms, MS Teams, Outlook).
• Fluency in English for documentation and communication with English-speaking colleagues and provinces.

The KPMG BC Region pay range information: The expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. Determination of base salary within this range is based on location, skills & competencies, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
