Systems Configuration Support Specialist
We’re hiring a Systems Configuration Support Specialist to support and maintain large, vendor-managed business systems within a regulated, enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone with a background in application support, systems analysis, or lending platforms who enjoys troubleshooting, configuration, and working closely with business stakeholders and vendors.
This is a support-heavy, configuration-focused role—not hands‑on development—where attention to detail, documentation, and system stability are critical.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support and maintain enterprise business applications, including loan origination and contract systems
- Configure workflows, business rules, queues, and user roles within vendor platforms
- Troubleshoot system issues and defects; act as an SME when production issues arise
- Partner with vendors and internal teams to investigate root causes and oversee resolution
- Review vendor release notes and coordinate system updates and enhancements
- Build and execute test cases; support UAT and post‑release validation
- Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, configuration guides, and change logs
- Support audits and compliance efforts by providing testing and deployment evidence
- Collaborate with business teams (operations, credit, funding, customer service) to prioritize system changes
- 3–5+ years of experience in application configuration, application support, or systems analysis
- Experience supporting lending, financial services, or other regulated systems (LOS experience is a strong plus)
- Familiarity with vendor‑managed platforms (not custom‑built applications)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent documentation and written communication abilities
- Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel, and reporting tools
- Understanding of SDLC, change management, and basic project management concepts
- Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work cross‑functionally
Nice to have:
- Experience with loan origination, leasing, or credit systems
- Prior exposure to compliance, audits, or data governance environments
- Type: 12‑month contract (strong potential for extension)
- Work Model: Hybrid (on‑site presence required 2 times per week; in‑office expectations increase in 2026)
