Number of Positions: 3 (Full-time, Permanent) Company: Hotel Feng, BW Signature Collection Business Address / Work Location: 424 Island Hwy W Parksville, BC V9P 1K8 Hotel Website: Contact Email: Job Details Position: Housekeeper Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Wage: $21.00 per hour Hours of Work: 40 hours per week Vacation: 10 days paid annual vacation Work Location: On-site at 424 Island Hwy W, Parksville, BC Job Description Hotel Feng is seeking three full-time Housekeepers to join our hotel operations team in Parksville, British Columbia. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for hotel guests and staff in accordance with company standards and guest service expectations. Key Job Duties The Housekeeper will perform the following duties: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately Refill housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies and linens Report lost and found items, maintenance issues, and safety hazards to supervisors Follow established health, safety, and sanitation procedures Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as required Assist with laundry duties when needed Ensure all work meets hotel cleanliness and quality standards Employment Requirements No formal education is required Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an asset but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements Ability to lift up to 20 lbs Attention to detail and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and hotel procedures Reliable, punctual, and dependable Basic English communication skills required Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities Fast-paced hotel environment Physically demanding and repetitive tasks Standing and walking for extended periods How to Apply Interested applicants are encouraged to apply by email with a resume to:
