Working closely with our Lead Web Designer and our external web development agency, this person acts as the operational owner of the website day‑to‑day. They ensure our component‑based WordPress experience is maintained, optimised, and aligned with business and brand goals.
The majority of the role is focused on optimising the website experience, with additional responsibilities to include analysis of paid media and e‑mail to ensure continuity and effectiveness from acquisition channels to on‑site engagement.

2. Analytics, Insight & Performance Monitoring
Analyse website performance to identify which channels, formats and creatives drive the strongest on‑site engagement – providing actionable recommendations to the campaign team

Work with paid media partners/agencies to ensure tracking, UTMs, and measurement frameworks are correctly implemented.
Partner with the Lead Web Designer to prioritise optimisations backed by insight
3. Experience Optimisation & Experimentation
Design, run and evaluate A/B tests or multivariate experiments on landing pages, content variants, UX flows.
Monitor site performance (including Core Web Vitals, page speed) and work with the agency to address issues.
Support technical SEO fundamentals (redirects, schema, site health) in collaboration with the agency.
4. Creative & Marketing Support
Using brand templates, produce/adapt visual assets (banners, graphics) and landing pages in support of campaigns.
Ensure that digital campaign landing pages are aligned to brand, responsive and optimised for performance.
Embed tracking and tagging structure for paid marketing and assist marketing teams with web-related tasks.
5. Technical Operations & Vendor Collaboration
Liaise with the external web agency for new component builds, template updates, script integrations or advanced technical changes.

Oversee implementations like script updates, tracking tools, and minor integrations (no coding required)
Maintain documentation and support internal teams with training on component usage
Skills & Experience Must Have

Excellent understanding of GA4, website analytics, and performance measurement
Comfortable interpreting data and turning it into practical recommendations

Familiarity with GTM tagging (template‑based, not custom coding)
Experience with SEO fundamentals
Experience working with web agencies or vendors
Familiarity with HTML/CSS JavaScript
Knowledge of paid advertising channels such as LinkedIn, YouTube and programme display
What this role is – and what it isn’t This role is:
the hands‑on digital experience operator, optimising the website, supporting marketing campaigns, measuring and improving performance, collaborating cross‑functionally. This role is not:
a full‑stack web developer or heavy coder, nor is it purely a designer role. It is not focused exclusively on backend architecture or advanced software engineering.
Why you’ll matter With our website function shifting to a highly engaging, brand‑driven experience, this role ensures that we don’t lose agility, measurement and optimisation. You’ll make sure we drive continuous improvement – based on analysis and insight, helping campaign teams deliver highly effective campaigns and ensuring we keep raising the bar on digital experience.
We will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria. You will receive separate notification as your application progresses. Please note that only candidates who meet the minimum criteria for the role will proceed in the selection process.
