JW Lees has a vacancy for a Free Trade Area Manager to join our sales team. This position will play a key role in the development of sales of JW Lees draught products throughout the North West. We offer a “one-stop shop package”, so in addition there will be a need to sell a full drinks offering inclusive of packaged beers, minerals, wines and spirits.

The Role & Responsibilities
Retention and development of an existing account base
Open new accounts within your designated trading area of responsibility, delivering on all targets set
Ensure your industry and product knowledge is expansive and relevant
Manage payment of goods and costs of any promotional support
Exceed customer's expectations by delivering exceptional service
Knowledge and experience on how to deliver a positive P&L
Reporting to the Director of Sales
The Person
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys selling
Someone who enjoys interacting with people
Someone who can think on their feet
You need to have great communication skills
Be a good listener and have a genuine desire to give the customer the best possible service
Enjoy working in a team-spirited culture, whilst at the same time having the self-motivation to get out there alone and make it happen
Experience in selling is essential and knowledge of the beer industry would be beneficial, but having the hunger to succeed in a competitive sales environment is just as important
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
