About The Role We are looking for a Product Analytics Manager to lead analytics for Cleo’s Product Growth pillar. Our Growth pillar works across acquisition, onboarding, conversion, retention, and expansion into new markets. You will lead a team of four to five Product Analysts embedded in cross‑functional squads across these areas. Your team’s work will directly influence how we acquire, convert and retain users, improve payback and LTV, and scale Cleo to millions more people sustainably. You will work alongside leaders in Analytics, Product, Engineering, Marketing and Design, playing a strategic decision‑making role and setting the bar for growth analytics while staying hands‑on and delivering high‑impact analysis yourself.
What You’ll Be Doing
Pillar leadership : Work with Growth pillar leaders to build a discovery and experimentation roadmap, ensuring data‑driven decisions across acquisition, onboarding, conversion, retention, and new market expansion.
Set best practices for how growth teams use data, from metric trees and success metrics to experiment design and decision making.
Support and challenge teams during OKR planning, ensuring initiatives are tied to clear metrics, realistic targets and well‑understood trade‑offs.
Provide visibility to senior leadership on Growth performance, key driver insights, and biggest opportunities.
Team building and management : Line‑manage 4 to 5 Product Analysts, support their performance, development and career progression.
Oversee workload and strategy of analysts, keeping the team motivated, focused on high‑impact work, and delivering against pillar priorities.
Coach analysts on stakeholder management, storytelling, experimentation and commercial thinking.
Raise the bar for analytics craft through feedback, pairing and sharing best practices.
Hands‑on analytics and experimentation : Proactively deliver high‑impact analysis that informs product road‑mapping and investment decisions.
Deep‑dive into key growth metrics to understand trends, root causes and channel/segment differences.
Oversee the experimentation program, ensuring robust, interpretable tests aligned to strategy.
Continuously surface insights through dashboards, metric reviews and alerting.
Metrics, data foundations and self‑serve : Define how the Product Growth squads quantify success, building metric trees that link input and output metrics and supporting OKR cycles.
Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to prioritize data modelling needs and ensure accurate datasets for growth use cases.
Contribute to the data codebase and champion high‑quality tracking and data hygiene.
Build and oversee self‑serve dashboards and tools enabling squads and leaders to act on metrics without always relying on the analytics team.
The Team You’ll Join You will sit within Cleo’s Data organisation, a 60+ person team of Product Analysts, Data Scientists and Analytics Engineers collaborating across product and growth. You will have peers managing analytics in other pillars and a manager who cares about your development through regular feedback, mentoring and dedicated learning time.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience in data or analytics, improving user and business outcomes through data‑driven insights and experimentation.
Experience in growth analytics, e.g., onboarding or activation, conversion funnels, or retention for B2C/subscription products.
Leadership of a high‑performing team of 2–3 analysts, setting a high bar in technical skills and insight‑based strategy influence.
Strong data storytelling to influence decisions and build frameworks for what matters for product success.
Experience designing and interpreting large‑scale A/B experiments that impact user experience and commercial outcomes, with solid statistical understanding.
Ability to help teams pick success metrics, decompose them into levers, and size opportunities, working closely with senior stakeholders to create rapid feedback cycles.
End‑to‑end data pipeline knowledge and best practices in tracking, data models (dbt) and self‑serve dashboards, comfortable with SQL and modern analytics tools.
Track record of raising analytics standards via better processes, tooling or ways of working, partnering with Product, Engineering and other functions.
We are looking for a self‑starter focused on results, with a demonstrated success story in using insight and leadership to drive product growth.
