Content Designer – Fixed Term until 03/03/2028 We are seeking a skilled and motivated Content Designer to lead the creation of high quality, user‑centred content across pembrokeshire.gov.uk and our corporate intranet. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape how we communicate with residents, businesses, and staff, ensuring our digital services are clear, accessible, and aligned with government standards.
Salary: £28,142 - £31,022. Contractual hours: 37. Basis: Fixed Term. Job category/type: ICT. Job reference: REQAA6916.
Key responsibilities
Write and iterate content on pembrokeshire.gov.uk and our intranet.
Collaborate with service areas to improve digital communication and user journeys.
Use analytics, user feedback and research to inform content decisions.
Ensure content meets accessibility and Welsh Language standards.
Publish content using a content management system and SharePoint 365.
What we are looking for
Experience in content design, ideally within the public sector.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to translate complex information into plain English.
Familiarity with content management systems and prototyping tools.
Understanding of accessibility standards and GDS guidelines.
Experience using data and user research to improve content.
