Wine Bar Server/Bartender

Job Summary
We are a family owned restaurant/wine bar and are looking for someone to fit our team and culture Must be upbeat, hard working, positive attitude, and a willing to want to learn and grow

Must have some availability to work 4-10pm Tuesday-Friday and 12-10pm Saturday. We will be closed Sunday and Monday.

Must have some experience making cocktails and some wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing expert wine recommendations based on preferences
• Serve wine, beverages, and light food items in accordance with established standards
• Manage cash handling and processing transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
• Assist in setting up for special events such as private tastings, banquets, or nightclub functions
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours
• Stay informed about wine selections, industry trends, and new offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender or server in fine dining, wine bars, nightclubs, or banquet settings
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in hospitality or food service industry preferred
• Previous experience in catering or banquet environments is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
