Housekeeper/Floor Care

The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment throughout the facility. This includes resident rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms in accordance with established policies and infection control standards.

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, and common spaces daily.
• Follow infection prevention and control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
• Properly handle and dispose of waste and laundry.
• Report any needed repairs or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and maintenance teams to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order.

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus).
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety and dignity.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
