The staff of Zion Adventures forms the backbone of our business operations. They work inside and play outside; they go canyoneering, hike, climb, and bike to understand Zion and all it has to offer. Our shop building as well as staff houses need regular upkeep inside and out. The property maintenance role includes general maintenance, seasonal landscaping, and repairs of several company owned properties. It isn't the most glamorous work but we wouldn't be able to function without it. Zion Adventures is a small business where staff members often take on multiple roles within the company. This position will also include at least one of the other roles listed below 1 -2 days a week.

• Outfitter - Outfitters prepare visitors to hike the Zion Narrows, answer questions about our services, maintain the vast amounts of equipment we send out each day, and perform other crucial tasks that help visitors have memorable experiences.
• Trailhead Shuttle Driver: Responsible for transporting adventurers to their desired destinations in a friendly and professional manner. The Trailhead Shuttle Driver must also be comfortable operating a 14 passenger Ford E350 Van safely on narrow, winding dirt roads. Zion Adventures is committed to providing exemplary customer service, so drivers need to be able to speak knowledgeably about other services we provide, as well as the Zion area.
• Bike Technician: Someone with a passion for people and uniting them with the Zion area through bikes. A broad field of customers and services requires our staff to be diverse, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow individual knowledge and skill sets. The ideal candidate has a depth of customer service experience coupled with a general technical mechanic background. Our bike technicians are motivated, flexible, critical thinkers with a strong ability to move fluidly between the social aspects of fitting bikes to customers and information sharing, to upkeep and organization of the bike program.

Position Description:
General maintenance and repairs of several company owned properties.
Starting Wage: $ 18/hr
Qualifications:Required:

• Minimum of 23 years of age
• Clean driving record
• General familiarity of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other general construction trades
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment as well as on solo, un-supervised projects
• Safety oriented
• Strong verbal communicator, with demonstrated ability to plan, analyze, and problem solve
• Interest in learning new skills, and teaching skills to others
• Ability to see the big picture of a project and use this scope to guide smaller everyday decisions.
• Ability to interact with customers, and the public responsibly, respectfully, and professionally
