Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking drink orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change using retail math skills.
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
• Ensure responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol service laws.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events such as banquets or catering functions.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management during busy shifts in nightclubs or hospitality settings.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by creating a welcoming environment for diverse guests from all backgrounds.
• Assist in training new team members on POS systems like Aloha or Micros and proper food handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using hospitality industry best practices.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing accuracy.
• Previous experience in catering or food industry roles is a plus.
• Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends can be an added advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or private parties. Pay: From $8.00 per hour
