Schools Security Officer - CNUSD

*MUST HAVE/OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN SB 1626 & SB 390 TRAINING CERTIFICATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION*

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Patrol an area for any safety or security risks
• Serve a deterrent to prevent unauthorized access to the area and the items within
• Respond to reported incidents as necessary
• Maintain a log of any activities
• Document any visitors to the property
• Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary
• • Maintain client relationships
• Properly documented incidents
• Other duties as assigned.

Observation and Reporting:

• Maintain constant vigilance and attentiveness to observe and report any suspicious activities or individuals.
• Document and report incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences promptly and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with the central security control room and other relevant personnel.

Patrolling:

• Conduct regular patrols of the construction site, paying special attention to high-risk areas.
• Collaborate with other security personnel to coordinate patrolling efforts and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Respond promptly to alarms or distress calls and take appropriate action.

Emergency Response:

• Assist in emergency situations, including fire drills, evacuations, and other safety-related incidents.
• Follow established emergency response procedures and protocols.
