Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager provides analytical and operational project management support under minimal supervision. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor projects in alignment with New Product Development (NPD) policies, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. The individual will drive consistent use of project management methodologies, support program governance, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Project Management Office (PMO).

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Program Management:

  • Provide analytical and project management support across multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute project plans aligned with New Product Development (NPD) processes and organizational standards.
  • Drive consistent adoption and execution of approved project management methodologies.
  • Support project and program planning sessions as a documentation lead and/or workstream lead.

Governance & Communication:

  • Support Project and Program Review meetings, including data gathering across projects, meeting coordination, documentation, and tracking of actions and deliverables.
  • Prepare and deliver clear project updates, dashboards, and reviews for all levels of management.
  • Ensure transparency, alignment, and accountability through effective communication and reporting.

Process Improvement & PMO Support:

  • Proactively participate in PMO processes and recommend improvements to systems, tools, and workflows.
  • Maximize business results by strengthening the organization's ability to execute projects from initiation through production scale-up.
  • Support performance management through disciplined tracking of milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong working knowledge of Quality Systems within regulated environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project or equivalent tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to read, write, and converse fluently in English.
  • Solid analytical skills, including the ability to perform high school-level mathematics accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred:
  • Electronics
  • Optics
  • Injection-molded plastics
  • Software development
  • Requirements definition
  • Verification and testing
  • Applied knowledge of FDA and international medical device regulations, or experience in other highly regulated industries, strongly preferred.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
