We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate directly with internal teammates in designing and developing software products. You will primarily focus on understanding complex technical and business requirements and translating them into highly scalable, robust product architectures. Additionally, you will serve as the technical lead and mentor for your team while maintaining a hands-on role. See key responsibilities and skills below.

What You'll Do

Software Development & Engineering

  • Support all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Develop and implement APIs and Web Services (REST, SOAP) while designing API-based solutions.
  • Program in Java, or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Develop robust applications using Angular.
  • Experience with creating AI solutions

Technical Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead development teams in building products.
  • Supervise and oversee the technical aspects of product development and quality.
  • Mentor peers and developers on the team at all levels of seniority.
  • Actively participate in discussions with company leadership, partners, and customers.
  • Assist in producing technical product and/or project documentation.
  • Assist as needed with opportunities and Sales activities, providing estimations and technical guidance.

Architecture & Design

  • Defining technical requirements for product architecture.
  • Understanding and translating business requirements into product designs.
  • Utilizing cloud architecture domain knowledge, VM and container expertise, and deployment strategies to design solutions.

DevOps, CI/CD & Modern Technologies

  • Utilizing CI/CD technologies and processes, including, but not limited to, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Well-versed in experimenting and validating approaches with new technologies.

Agile & Adaptive Workstyle

  • Work with different levels of requirement definition and respond swiftly to stakeholder feedback.

Service & Support

  • Collaborate closely with our Services and Support teams to address and resolve complex, escalated client issues (Level 3 support). This includes performing deep technical analysis, debugging software defects, identifying root causes, and implementing robust solutions or workarounds to ensure optimal system performance and client satisfaction

What You Bring

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a "perfectionist" approach to work.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to frequently changing standards and priorities.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing highly scalable enterprise-level solutions.
  • Passion for deploying scalable and robust solutions, with a focus on future-proofing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to interact with a variety of team members, customers, and end-users.
  • Previous experience of leading and/or mentoring junior developers

Technical Skills

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in Full Stack development using technologies such as Java and Angular.
  • 10+ years of Software Development experience, gained in a Product development setting.
  • Experience with system monitoring solutions is a plus.
  • A background in DevOps as well as some exposure to AI/ML development would be highly beneficial.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience in the field of Software Development
  • Oral and written fluency in English.

  • Positions may involve infrequent lifting of items such as a laptop or related equipment. Walking requirements are limited to normal travel or commute needs as outlined in this section.
  • All roles require the ability to communicate effectively, including speaking on the phone and collaborating with team members, clients, vendors, and other business partners. Employees must be able to focus on multiple tasks and project requirements throughout the workday. Most positions may require occasional travel.

Home Office Requirements:

  • A minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps for downloads and 1.5 Mbps for uploads is required.
  • A private Wi-Fi network with a strong, unique password is necessary to access company data or systems.
  • The company provides a monthly internet stipend. New hires must complete a speed test during onboarding and update any default router passwords to ensure secure network access.
